First-time setup
The same four steps on every computer.
STEP 01
Install the WireGuard client
Use the command on your platform card above, or grab it from wireguard.com/install. It's free, open source and audited.
STEP 02
Download an OwlGate config
Pick a tree house on the Locations page. You get a .conf file with that city's endpoint, keys and DNS baked in.
STEP 03
Import the tunnel
Windows/macOS: Import tunnel(s) from file. Linux: sudo wg-quick up ./owlgate-london.conf. ChromeOS: open the .conf in the WireGuard app.
STEP 04
Activate and check
Toggle the tunnel on, then run the leak test to confirm your traffic is exiting from the UK tree house you chose.
Bring up the tunnel
Once WireGuard is installed, activate your OwlGate config with the command (or menu action) for your computer.
